My research interests are broadly centered on race and ethnic politics with a focus on how voting rights shape the behavior and political representation of minority voters. I incorporate causal inference research methodologies to understand how election officials implement voter protections for language minority citizens and voting rights more broadly. Recently, I received an honorable mention for the 2024 Best Grad Student Paper Award and was recognized for my research by the MPSA Latina/o Political Caucus. I have also presented my dissertation research for the 2025 Junior Americanist Workshop.
